Senior Controls Systems Engineer

• Working in teams of engineers, contractors, operations, in a manufacturing environment
• Identifying process needs and architecting automation systems solutions
• Preparing presentations of conceptual designs and technology architecture
• Developing software solutions to solve complex problems
• Deploying systems using Process Automation Controllers, Drive, and Instrumentation
• Variety of work and diverse assignments

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A background with controls, automation, and data in Pharmaceutical or other regulated industries
• Familiarity with 21 CFR Part 11 and GMP compliance
• Platform expertise in Rockwell FactoryTalk (Batch/View/Logix), DeltaV, and Pi Historian
• Experience supporting validation activities and system qualification through developing Functional Design Specifications and testing control system automation
• Knowledge of configuring and interfacing with Information Technology including domain controllers, databases, industrial networks, and data historians
• An affinity for providing support and service within teams of co-workers, customers & suppliers
• Education in the engineering, science or technology field plus strong experience working in a manufacturing environment
• An interest in working in the Research Triangle Park area of North Carolina
