Senior Process Solutions Engineer
ECS Solutions, Inc. (“ECS”), a CSIA Certified control systems integration firm, requires two (2) Senior Process Solutions Engineers at its corporate office located in Evansville, Indiana. ECS seeks to fill these positions with highly skilled engineering professionals with numerous years of hands-on project experience developing comprehensive solutions for a wide variety of engineering and manufacturing problems in one or more process industries.
Job Duties:
- Lead complex aspects of project development activities on specified projects;
- Provide backup support and guidance for field service engineers as needed;
- Create system architecture by selecting solutions platforms, and generating concept-level designs;
- Provide input to internal project team risk assessments and contingency plans;
- Develop specifications for user requirements, functionality, and system design;
- Assist sales team with estimating costs for potential solutions or project development labor;
- Produce testing protocol and other quality planning documentation;
- Participate in quality activities such a design reviews and deliverable approvals;
- Provide feedback to team leads during project closeout, audits, & performance monitoring; and
- Serve as technical mentor to assigned, entry-level engineers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, OR Electrical Engineering, OR Computer Engineering, OR Manufacturing Engineering; and
- Sixty (60) months experience with batch control systems and batch management software in either the Food, Beverage, Life Science, or Chemical industries.
- The above experience should include the following:
- Working knowledge of applying ISA 88 Standard within FDA 21 CFR Part 11 Regulations;
- Experience analyzing piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs) and evaluating process designs; and
- Considerable knowledge of process instrumentation, and other technology found in process manufacturing systems.
